Not The Final Whistle
Issue #303 completes 40 Years of The 'Ear
Tomorrow, just in time for what has turned out to be a high-stakes game, we’re publishing our 303rd edition. #303 has turned out to be quite high-stakes too, for a few reasons - not least because it may be the last one ever. We don’t want it to be, but over the coming months we need to concentrate our limited time on launching a new digital product that should enable The ‘Ear to have a long future, ensuring there is a truly independent and progressive voice for Orient fans for many more years to come.
More details on that to come very soon - in the meantime, please gorge yourself on #303, where we look back on the long, auspicious history of Orient fanzines, meet Os in some of the farthest flung places on this planet, share the soundtrack to our season, meet long lost players, and bring you up to date with the latest news, views, and analysis from some of the sharpest minds around Brisbane Road.
Ear 303 will be available from all the usual spots around the ground vs Mansfield, Rotherham, and Burton - as well as in The Supporters’ Club, Dreamhouse Records, and Stanchion Books. You can also order directly from www.leytonorientear.com
If our new thing is as successful as we hope it will be, then there will be a 304th edition in print before too long… in the meantime, up the Os!
